Dive News

Cosmeston saw some rare visitors this weekend – though not of the avian variety –  I did wonder however whether Teresa was spitting feathers at the thought of a demonstration in Cosmeston of Dive Leading for Tony!! Steve came to the rescue with the offer of a time piece when Teresa remembered that both her watch and her dive timer were at home. Tony did a perfect buddy check, which involved a quick trip back to the car for his weight belt. Andy Powell (having scored with the Wetherspoons regular who wondered if we were there for the dog walking trip) decided to try this diving malarkey again before the Weymouth trip and found, like Mark, that Aladins don’t like the cold weather as they both shut up shop! Brian has decided that I have a magnetic personality, which is the only reason he wasn’t spot on his navigational technique, and Steve spent 70 minutes looking for his buddy, Ross, who by that time was eating Sunday lunch back at home! All in all a normal Cosmeston dive!

 Halloween Dawn Dive

Cosmeston  - meeting at 7am – in water for 7.30 – fancy dress optional!!

 As the dive show is on - Cossie not booked for Sunday  - if you want to take a dip let me know and I’ll arrange it!

 
Winter warmer November 8^th & 9^th

^{I shall send} a separate email round in a couple of days with full details, ie where we are staying et al. Having checked the figures, the actual cost per head is £80. I may not make next Wednesday, so if you haven’t paid me the balance this week, please ensure that you have it for the weekend! I would guess that Ian would appreciate crispy cracklies as opposed to cheques!
